Jacemay: Growing in Learning and Worship

Christ in You Holy Spirit began using child sponsorship in 2009 to help families facing educational hardship and build relationships that could lead them toward Christ.

Jacemay Lacamento was the church’s first recipient. She began in nursery and, by the 2025 report, was in her third year of a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program.

Along the way, Jacemay became active in church and served in worship as a drummer and occasional pianist. Home Bible studies with her family became another part of the journey, and the family began attending church regularly.

Her story shows the program’s intended shape: educational support held together with patient discipleship, family relationships, and meaningful service.
