Christ in You – Holy Spirit Partnership

The Child Sponsorship Program at Christ in You Holy Spirit started back in 2009, when Pastor Ronald Longos was sent as a missionary pastor and church planter in Brgy. Holy Spirit. He used this program to reach out to families, especially the less fortunate, recommending children who had financial difficulties with their education. Our main goal was to help them, and then bring them to the Lord. The KMI Child Sponsorship Program has made a big impact in our community. Many children have been given the chance to go to school, to learn, and to dream for a better future. It has not only helped them with their education but also guided them to grow in their faith and good values. Because of this program, their families attend Bible studies and go to church regularly. Jacemay Lacamento was the first recipient of the program. She started in nursery and continues today, now in her 3rd year of college taking up a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Through the years, Jacemay grew in her faith. She became active in the church and now serves in the worship ministry as a drummer, and sometimes plays the piano. Pastor Ronald and Teacher Ammie also began home Bible studies with her family, and it has been a blessing to see how God is working in their lives. We will continue pursuing our main goal through this program: to reach out to less-fortunate families and help their children continue their education. The program has not only supported education but also touched hearts and changed lives.

Fruit grows where local churches remain present, partners walk alongside them, and God provides through His people.
