A feeding ministry in San Fernando grows from one Bible study
What began after a family’s loss has grown into weekly gatherings of 20–30 children and 12–16 adults hungry for God’s Word.
A field update from Fundamental Baptist Church.
What happened
The ministry in Barangay San Jose started when a church member lost their in-laws and the family asked for a Bible study. Follow-up visits opened a wider door, and the feeding program now gathers children and adults each week for a meal and Scripture. People who first came for the meals are returning because they are hungry for God’s Word.
How Kapatid walked alongside
Kapatid received the church’s report, reviewed attendance and progress, and continues to support the outreach as it reaches new puroks in the barangay.
An honest challenge
Many relatives in the community still do not participate actively, and the church estimates it has reached about half of its original goal.
Pray for the Feliciano family and other households being reached, and for the adults and youth showing real spiritual hunger.
